[產品介紹] HPE NonStop L23.08版本發布更新概要(上)

前言

HPE NonStop X系列主機於2023年8月推出L-Series：L23.08的作業系統版本更新，可適用於HPE Integrity NonStop X系統、HPE Virtualized NonStop系統、HPE Virtualized Converged NonStop 系統環境中，本文將針對L23.08的作業系統版本更新項目中的應用系統開發進行介紹，下期則繼續分享：資料庫與交易處理、操作管理與資訊安全、硬體產品、網路產品等產品。

應用系統開發產品(Application Development Products)更新說明

一、NonStop API Gateway Update 3 (NS API Gateway 1.3)產品

L23.08 RVU版本起，可支援NonStop API Gateway Update 3 (NS API Gateway 1.3)並在使用方面進行功能上的提升：
  • 支援Plugin : Plugin的主要功能是針對現有Program/Application增加或修改特定功能，而NonStop API Gateway是用來提供Plugin使用Program/Application的介面管道。NonStop API Gateway可支援三種Plugin類型，包括Processor Plugin、Decorator Plugin 和 Error Handler Plugin等類型。


  • mTLS：NonStop API Gateway 13版本起可在Proxy Mode中執行mTLS兩端互相認證身分協議。mTLS(Mutual Transport Layer Security)，是一種兩端互相驗證的方法。mTLS Server透過連線驗證兩端是否擁有Certificate來確認他們的身分。mTLS Server還請求客戶端的Certificate並在接受會話請求之 前對其進行驗證。


  • EMS Logging : NonStop API Gateway在Gateway and Proxy Mode時支援將錯誤的訊息記錄到NonStop EMS Logging中。Gateway模式裡，YML設定檔案中可以包含EMS Logging相關配置。

二、NonStop HTTP Server 2.4 Update 3 (NSHTTP Server 2.4 U3)產品

NonStop 作業系統採用NSHTTP Server 執行 Web-Based 相關程式。NSHTTP Server 擁有Apache Webserver 2.4.56版本功能，並在使用方面進行功能提升 :
  • MFA : Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) 是一種安全機制，要求用戶提供兩種以上形式的Authentication，才允許使用應用程式或資源。重要資料可以受到多種Authentication保護，避免重要資料被竊取。當客戶端針對特定受到保護的URL (Uniform Resource Locator)要求使用權限時，需要客戶提供Username與其他 Configured Factors才可以完成身分驗證。

三、NonStop In Memory Cache 7 (NSIMC 7) 產品

NSIMC是一種Memory Storage Server，它可跨越系統上不同CPU，同時分享不同CPU間的資料，使Application讀取資料的速度更快。
  • RESP3 : New version Redis protocol(RESP3)。支援floating point 與 Boolean 資料類型。


  • Protection of the transport link using SSL : NSIMC 7.0在Client 與 cache server 之間提供加密的SSL 連線無需安裝SSL Proxy。


  • Access Control List v2 (ACLv2) : 依照不同Client，定義控制Client使用不同的實體cache 欄位，提高資料Transport Link 安全保護。


  • Client-side caching : 當資料有異動時，將主動發送"Invalidation" Message 給 Client端並請Client 端發送要求重新更新資料訊息。NSIMC server 利用 "Invalidation" Message 提高Client 與 Server 之間資料傳輸效能。

四、NSJ 11 Update 3 (NSJ 11 U3)產品

NSJ 11 Update 3產品適用於OpenJDK 11.0.18版本，其與NSJ 11 Update 2之間的差異變化如下：
  • 當NonStop系統x86處理器於支援AES-NI microprocessor instructions指令，將停止使用JVM option, -XX:-Use AES or XX:-Use AES Intrinsics。

  • 當NonStop系統x86處理器在支援AES-NI microprocessor instructions指令，將停止使用 XX:-UseCLMUL or XX:-UseCRC32 Intrinsics。

  • NSJ 11 Update 3可以選擇是否使用”Background Compilation”。

  • NSJ 11 Update 3不支援JARs signed with SHA-1 Algorithms。

五、NonStop TS/MP Enhancements產品

NonStop TS/MP 2.8 Update 5，針對以下功能進行加強與更新：

Pathway Domain Management Interface (PDMI)，在 PATHWAY與Serverclass部分參數增加Limits限制，由4095提高到 8190 :
  • MAXSERVERPROCESSES (Pathway)

  • NUMSTATIC (Serverclass)

  • MAXSERVERS (Serverclass)

六、NonStop Manageability Plug-ins for TS/MP (NSMPT) 產品

NonStop Manageability Plug-ins for TS/MP API，針對以下功能進行加強與更新 :
  • NSMEF subsystem 相關設定。

  • NSMEF subsystem 管理。

  • 建置 NSMEF Rule 檔案。

NSMPT 管理 TS/MP 三個主要subsystem，即ACS、PDMI 和 NSMEF subsystem。
