SYSCOM, established in 1975 and going public in 2001, continues leading Taiwan's system integration and e-commerce industry with innovative solutions. SYSCOM specializes in providing comprehensive solutions for financial institutions, high-tech manufacturers, the public sector, securities companies, the healthcare and medical industries, telecommunications, and educational institutions.
Headquartered in Taipei, we have regional offices around the world including Taiwan, Asia and the Americas. SYSCOM Group's 1,500 employees include more than 400 CCIE, MCSA and MCSE certified engineers. Originally a computer peripheral vendor, today SYSCOM provides an extensive portfolio of information technology services and is one of few Taiwanese companies offering these services worldwide.
SYSCOM’s evolution from peripheral sales to system integration allowed us to amass a tremendous wealth of domain knowledge. Sharply focused on our areas of domain expertise, SYSCOM offers solutions in areas including: system integration, online custom information integration, e-Business, high-tech manufacturing, network planning and implementation, outsourcing, hardware sales and maintenance, software development and maintenance, and training.
Equipped with the best technology and ever growing domain experience, SYSCOM implemented highly successful core systems in Asia for the Taiwan, Shenzhen and Shanghai Stock Exchanges.
SYSCOM devotes significant resources to service quality. Our results include: ISO 9002 certification in 1996, approved in 1997 by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs for bidding on public sector projects, awarded Best Technology Developer in 1998 by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and in 2000, SYSCOM achieved ISO 9001 quality certification. Our efforts to further improve software quality led us to strive for CMMI certification and in 2004 SYSCOM reached Level 3 and then later CMMI Level 5 in 2006. Since 2009, we have continued CMMI reappraisals at more rigorous maturity levels.
Early SYSCOM projects like online transaction processing at the Taiwan Stock Exchange and the first electronic data interchange system for tariffs and trade have given way to the latest technologies like cloud computing platforms and green software solutions. SYSCOM proudly continues leading our industry with these innovations. As China’s economy grows, recent cross-strait cooperation will continue to expand, especially in healthcare and finance, two domains where SYSCOM has thrived.
