Ten Years, New Horizons — Taiwan-Japan Joint Venture CloudMaster Marks 10th Anniversary in Taiwan

[2023/9/26] CloudMaster Co., Ltd., a joint venture established in Taiwan in 2013 between renowned Taiwanese IT services provider SYSCOM Computer Engineering Co. and TOKAI Communications, a subsidiary of Japan's major TOKAI Group, celebrated its 10th anniversary in Taiwan this year. The celebration event "Ten Years, New Horizons" was held and co-hosted by SYSCOM’s President, Mr. James Liu, and TOKAI Holdings Corporation’s Representative Director and President, Mr. Katsuo Oguri, on September 26, 2023. Many distinguished guests from the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Interchange Association Japan, and the Taiwan Association of Japanese Studies attended this event and together witnessed this important milestone in Taiwan-Japan software industry collaboration.

CloudMaster Co., Ltd. was founded to combine Japan's rigorous quality standards with Taiwan's innovative R&D and integration capabilities, creating a premium Taiwan-Japan collaborative brand that serves the needs of the Japanese, Taiwanese, and overseas markets. Over the past decade, CloudMaster has faithfully served as a bridge for Taiwan-Japan exchange—introducing SYSCOM’s "Ayuda" smart service robot, a multiple Taiwan Excellence Award winner, to the Japanese market, while SYSCOM’s "NETCenter IT Infrastructure Monitoring Management Center" and "OMFLOW Robotic Process Automation Engine" have also won recognition from Japanese customers for their outstanding cost-performance, spurring continued opportunities to bring domestic quality products to Japan.

CloudMaster has also introduced Japanese IT products to Taiwan. Through regular participation in Taiwan's two major annual IT events—the Smart City Summit & Expo and the AIoT Expo—the company has gradually built its presence in the Taiwanese market, through localized integration providing high-quality professional IT services to Japanese enterprises and other clients in Taiwan across sectors including tourism and entertainment, high technology, construction, healthcare, and international trade. Notable projects include the IT integration for Xpark, the aquarium operated by Taiwan's Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, which drew considerable attention even before its opening in Taiwan; efficient IT infrastructure management services for Taiwan's Mitsui Outlet Park, which operates numerous POS systems and network devices; a remote desktop solution for Hamamatsu Photonics Taiwan; and support for Landseed International Hospital's smart ward implementation. By flexibly leveraging both Taiwanese and Japanese software and hardware products, CloudMaster delivers advanced, intelligent cloud services that did well impress its clients.

Reflecting on the past decade, CloudMaster expressed heartfelt gratitude to the clients and partners, whose trust and support have driven its continued growth.
