Sixth Credit Cooperative of Changhua Now Using SYSCOM's Taiwan-developed Smart Robot “Ayuda”

[2018/3/14] Artificial intelligence is burning hot throughout Taiwan and Sixth Credit Cooperative of Changhua and SYSCOM Computer have officially announced on March 7th introducing our Taiwan-developed smart robot “Ayuda” to serve in the financial sector. Ayuda will provide services to customers at the bank's headquarters in Changhua.
Vastly different from common entertainment or educational robots that are available on the market, smart robot Ayuda is very capable in a financial services environment and being deployed jointly in cooperation with SYSCOM Computer and Sixth Credit Cooperative of Changhua. Ayuda is completely MIT (Made in Taiwan): designed, manufactured, and assembled in Taiwan using mobile robot platforms, robot components, voice recognition, voice chat communications, automatic maps and navigation learning, video conferencing, and provides many more functions which integrate with banking systems including back-office systems. Ayuda provides intelligent services such as insurance product introduction, investment scenario calculations, interest rate inquiry, and she even guides customers to their correct counter teller when the time is right.
In the township of Changhua, the Sixth Credit Cooperative has for many years provided excellent financial services and products to area citizens. More recently, the bank has aggressively invested in electronic financial services and has worked with SYSCOM, the leading systems integrator in Taiwan, to provide first-class and convenient financial services, including: a mobile online banking APP, opening accounts online, payment via cloud, and more to facilitate these modern customer requirements and attract younger customers with Internet lifestyles. Working with SYSCOM Computer, they have now introduced smart robots with the goal of integrating AI and technology to reduce labor intensive tasks and reduce customer wait times. Bank Chairman Wen Yongchun said, “We are optimistic about the development of artificial intelligence in the financial services sector.” In the future, Wen plans to continue working with SYSOCM to provide customers with more and better services.
SYSCOM President Mr. Liu Ruilong, pointed out that smart robot's innovation is both its internal technologies and its external appearance, which was designed by a professional animation company. SYSCOM designed Ayuda’s mobile movement platform and has an innovative integration with the robot's mechanical and electromechanical structures.
It can also flexibly integrate specific hardware devices for use in various environments, such as integrated hospital health insurance card readers, which can be linked to hospital management systems, or school student ID IC card readers for student affairs management. Most importantly, Ayuda adopts the international standard ROS (Robotic Operating System) development platform which is widely used in the robotics field, coupled with SYSCOM’s more than 40 years of system integration experience. It is on cutting edge of robotics and artificial intelligence and easily integrates with international systems to provide customers with highly customized systems, which other robot manufacturers cannot achieve. SYSCOM has awarded champion for the 2018 Cloud and Innovation Award for the Enterprise Group and the 2018 System Integration Export Award. Looking at the future of smart robots, SYSCOM President Mr. Liu says, “SYSCOM will continue to draw upon our strengths as systems integrator while helping our customers to maximize their benefits from technology even with very limited budgets."
